Pop and R&B songstress Satya proudly releases her EMD influenced Domeno Rem Maybe We Should, already garnering UK airplay with the original version going Top 40 on US Mediabase charts in 2018.
The Domeno remix debuted a dynamic, rhythmic pop and EDM sound, the Montreal-based artist recently dropped the single on January 29.Both Quebec residence, Satya choose to collaborate with Domeno because she really admires his work and felt that Domeno would capture her large vocals and feeling of “Maybe We Should” through an EMD vibe. Known for making the crowds dance from Amsterdam to Ibiza to Miami, Domeno’s records are played by some of the biggest names in EDM like David Guetta, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Hardwell and Satya is thrilled to be part of Domeno’s musical catalog. New to the Canadian music scene, Satya’s life story is one of love for music and perseverance to survive. Abandoned at birth in Morocco, Satya understands the meaning of never giving up - adopted and brought to live in Canada was the changing factor that saved her life. Inspired by talent musical vocalists like Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, Satya wants to bring back the focus on vocalists and feels the older artists have something to teach today’s generation of artists about the love and craft of big vocals.

Abandoned at birth in Morocco, Satya was dealt a bad hand very early on, but being adopted and brought to live in Canada may have just saved her life. She fell in love with singing and performance at a very young age, but that soon gave way to very tough school years, which saw Satya, who was bullied for the color of her skin, go to excessive lengths to be accepted by her peers and society. Despite the love of her family, she lost her bearings, and turned to alcohol and drugs.
Battling addiction and it’s many demons at the age of 18, Satya was lost and had no more hope – that marked a turning point in her life. With the help of her family, she began rehab treatment at 20 years old. At the age of 21 years old she celebrated her first year of sobriety and has remained sober ever since. She then rekindled her love and passion for music. Today, her warm and emotive voice, her inspiring message, and the groovy rhythms of her R&B/Pop music reveal a strong and powerful young woman.
